Simply Business, the UK’s leading insurance broker for small businesses, faced fragmented customer data across PPC, website, email and a large call centre, with no ownership of granular event data and slow processing that prevented real-time intervention. To solve this they adopted Snowplow’s analytics platform (Snowplow Analytics / real-time pipeline) to capture event-level data and build a single customer view across channels.

Using Snowplow, Simply Business implemented a unified event pipeline, multi-channel attribution, an A/B testing framework, lead scoring and real-time customer feeds to call centre agents, plus on-site personalization. Snowplow enabled them to cancel Google Analytics Premium, move to board-level metrics from their own data, optimize marketing spend and ROAS, prioritize high-probability leads and improve conversion and product fixes — delivering faster decision-making, measurable improvements in marketing efficiency and better customer outcomes.
