Case Study: MAX Burgers achieves faster, GDPR-compliant data insights with Snowflake

A Snowflake Case Study

Preview of the Max Burgers Case Study

With Snowflake, Sweden’s most popular burger chain provides new insights to an already thriving business.

MAX Burgers, Sweden’s favorite burger chain, needed a faster and more scalable data platform to support analytics across marketing, HR, and business control. Its existing lakehouse setup was slow to extend and would have required hiring many more data engineers, so the company turned to Snowflake for analytics, data engineering, AI, and collaboration capabilities.

Snowflake helped MAX Burgers migrate its data warehouse in two weeks and later move its data lake in just a few months. The new platform improved speed and flexibility, cutting development and testing times from hours or a full day to about 30 minutes, enabling 7TB database clones in around 10 seconds, and supporting secure GDPR-compliant access. Snowflake also let MAX Burgers do more with a smaller team, avoid warehouse disruptions, and scale predictably as usage grows.
