Using Snowflake as the Foundation of a Marketing Intelligence Platform

Panoramic, a Los Angeles–based SaaS provider of marketing intelligence and benchmarking tools, needed a scalable data warehouse to ingest and constantly changing advertising APIs and deliver insights to customers. Engineers were spending excessive time on ETL, schema management, and maintenance—gluing disparate systems together—which lowered operational efficiency and delayed feature delivery.

Panoramic migrated to Snowflake (a mock migration took three hours) and used its fully managed, cloud-built warehouse and support for large, XPath-addressable JSON blobs (up to 16MB). The move eliminated much of the maintenance overhead, reduced trouble tickets to nearly zero, freed engineers to focus on product value, simplified scaling, and enabled secure, real-time data sharing with customers while lowering infrastructure costs.
