tesa Connects Machine Data, Back-Office Systems and Gen AI Innovations with Snowflake

tesa, the adhesive manufacturer, needed a way to unify customer, back-office, and production data across its global operations while also exploring generative AI use cases. Using Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, tesa aimed to build a 360-degree customer view, consolidate service data from multiple channels, and connect machine data from its production sites.

Snowflake helped tesa integrate 18 systems and manage 10 terabytes of data, enabling unified dashboards, deeper customer and market analysis, and optimization of plant processes with IoT sensor data. With Snowflake Cortex AI and Snowflake Copilot, tesa also launched a complaint-segmentation proof of concept in just one week and sped up SQL development, while new plants can be onboarded within a week.
