PayU GPO, a global payment service provider, wanted to build a more unified, data-driven culture but faced a challenge: its teams used different terms, measurement methods, and disconnected data sources, making it difficult to compare results consistently across the business. The company turned to Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud to bring all of its data together and make it accessible across the organization.
With Snowflake, PayU GPO built 800 pipelines to centralize data, created a unified glossary, and launched certified global reports, data models, and dashboards so teams could work from the same numbers. The result was 83% faster data ingestion and 94% lower costs for selected data models, while data access was democratized for about 350 active Snowflake users across business, operations, marketing, and sales.
