A Snowflake Case Study
Zeeto, a San Diego–based digital advertising company that runs a real-time bidding platform, was struggling as customer growth outpaced a rigid infrastructure: they were forced to purge critical performance data and lacked insight beyond basic conversion and billing metrics. To evaluate why particular ads were shown (and why others weren’t) across billions of events per year, Zeeto needed a micro‑services architecture that could stream and query raw platform events and let teams iterate quickly.
Zeeto moved raw event data into Snowflake and used Snowpipe for continuous loading, standing up an initial warehouse in two weeks and streaming events every five minutes. The change enabled hours‑not‑days reporting, cross‑department analytics, an in‑house A/B testing platform, and a rebuilt CMS that replaced Google Analytics (saving up to $13,000/month), while opening the door to real‑time data sharing with publishers and advertisers.
