Marchex, a Seattle-based conversational analytics company, needed a modern data platform to support rapidly growing volumes of call data and to launch new customer-facing reporting features. Their legacy open-source relational databases demanded constant engineering maintenance and couldn't deliver consistent, concurrent self-service reporting at scale.

Marchex replaced its traditional stack with Snowflake’s fully managed, scalable data warehouse, enabling independent compute, on-demand scaling, and concurrent queries. The change produced faster, more consistent customer reports, freed two engineering FTEs for product work, and established a scalable foundation for AI/ML and future feature expansion.
