Capital One, a bank holding company specializing in credit cards, auto loans, banking and savings products, needed to deliver personalized, data-driven experiences but was held back by slow access to data and an on-premises warehouse that lacked desired resilience. The company wanted to move to the cloud to scale analytics and routinely test failover rather than only during disasters.

By migrating to Snowflake, Capital One gained high concurrency and the ability to run complex queries quickly at scale, and it established resilient East–West failover to better protect customer assets. The SnowPro dashboard also improved data transparency across lines of business, helping teams track data flows, identify issues, and monitor spending.
