Accor Develops a Customer Data Platform For More Effective Marketing Campaigns

Accor, the global hospitality group, wanted to improve campaign performance, optimize marketing spend, and deliver more personalized customer experiences. To do that, it worked with Snowflake and Hightouch to build a customer data platform (CDP) that could unify data across business units and support better segmentation and a shared view of contacts worldwide.

Snowflake helped Accor implement the CDP quickly after initial testing, with the platform launched in about two months. The result was faster self-serve marketing data access, cutting segment request time from three weeks to a few days, and 85% faster data pulls for marketing requests, enabling more efficient acquisition, loyalty, and retention campaigns.
