UiPath, a leader in robotic process automation that combines RPA, AI and process mining, needed a scalable, fully managed cloud platform to power its Insights analytics product on Automation Cloud. The team required fast ingestion and combination of large volumes of JSON and structured data, predictable performance across multiple public clouds, and a solution that would free customers from infrastructure management.

UiPath built Insights on Snowflake, using its multi-cluster shared data architecture, native semi-structured support and automatic storage/compute scaling to enable dynamic JSON processing, pause/auto-resume workloads and broad BI connectivity. The result: support for customers with over a billion records across 2.5K tenants in six regions, near-immediate onboarding and data access, richer prebuilt and custom reports/dashboards, and improved transparency and scale for monitoring automation ROI.
