Its legacy, sharded data architecture could not scale for national-level analysis—analysts spent hours aggregating queries across databases, searches of billions of call transcripts were slow, and BI was limited to basic KPIs, diverting engineering time to routine data maintenance.

YouMail rebuilt its data lake on Snowflake (on AWS) to create a single source of truth, enable continuous ingestion with Snowpipe, and connect ML and BI tools through Snowflake’s ecosystem. The result: text searches of billions of calls now run in about two minutes, analyst productivity increased 15x, internal dashboards and evidence-grade behavioral reports accelerate prosecutions, media responsiveness and sales opportunities have expanded, and near-zero maintenance lets the team focus on high-value work.
