CONA Services is the IT platform provider for North American Coca‑Cola bottlers, supporting SAP, Salesforce, and Blue Yonder environments for over 800 customers and processing $24 billion in revenue and 160,000 orders per day. Faced with poor performance from a centralized SAP HANA BI solution and the need for a future-state architecture that offered scalability, better performance, data blending, cost-effectiveness, and local development freedom, CONA set out clear guiding principles to evaluate alternatives.
CONA migrated to Snowflake, whose multi-cluster shared data architecture resolved performance and storage limits while enabling consumption-based pricing. Snowflake Secure Data Sharing streamlined collaboration with 11 bottlers (yielding nearly 100% time savings for data sharing), and a Resident Solutions Architect helped meet tight SLAs. CONA also built SnowSquall, an Excel add‑in that connects users to Snowflake, preserving familiar workflows and now offered as a marketable product—delivering improved performance, flexibility, and cost savings.
