Frontify, a St. Gallen–based SaaS platform for brand management, needed to scale its analytics as it grew from a startup into a global leader. Its original MySQL and Python-based pipelines began failing and slowing down, producing inconsistent data and delaying insights for leadership—so the team sought a more reliable, performant, and scalable data platform.
After running proof-of-concept projects, Frontify adopted Snowflake with Fivetran and added ThoughtSpot for analytics, migrating workloads and building data marts. The simpler implementation let the team prototype quickly and scale the pipeline; today 660 million rows feed ThoughtSpot with average query times of 0.22 seconds, about 27% of staff use the platform monthly, and teams across the company trust the data for faster, confident decision-making.
