OpenX Launches Bids on Snowflake Data Marketplace to Streamline Access to Log-level Data

OpenX, a Pasadena-based programmatic advertising exchange connecting 120,000+ advertisers and 130,000+ publisher domains, faced growing demand for granular, log-level bid data. Delivering millions-row spreadsheets was slow, costly, and operationally burdensome, preventing near–real-time insights and diverting engineering resources from scalable solutions.

To address this, OpenX launched the Bidding Intelligence Data Set (BIDS) on Snowflake Data Marketplace, standardizing a 40-field log-level product and using Snowflake’s multi-cluster architecture and extensive connectors for easy BI integration. Partners now get near–real-time access at lower storage and compute cost, enabling faster data science, better campaign optimization and ROAS, and the ability to fulfill nearly all log-level data requests while freeing technical staff for higher-value work.
