Mago boosts retail efficiency with Snowdog in a seamless in-store smart trolley rollout

Mago, a large Polish shop-fitting manufacturer, approached Snowdog to design a user-centered interface for their CLEVER Smart Trolley. The challenge was to create an intuitive system for a small screen that could handle multiple ways of adding products, accommodate store environments and EU regulations, and be usable for non tech-savvy shoppers, all while streamlining the checkout process to reduce queuing time.

Snowdog conducted in-store research to analyze the existing trolley and then designed a new, comprehensive user flow and UI. The solution integrated scanning, weighing, and checkout into a single, compliant interface and identified opportunities for cross-promotion. The result was a seamless and adaptable shopping experience that allows customers to check out without waiting and provides store staff with tools for quick problem resolution.
