Stereo, an eight-person design and development agency in Trois‑Rivières, built a one‑page e-commerce site for Canadian Stoner Rock band The Black Years with simple requirements: a single-attribute product setup and per-option maximum quantities. The challenge was to deliver a lightweight, fully skinned shopping experience quickly while keeping backend inventory control minimal.

Stereo used Snipcart on top of WordPress (products via Advanced Custom Fields and a custom post type), integrating products and the cart in two hours and polishing the front end in one—three hours total. They customized Snipcart’s modal, used webhooks to update stock on orders, praised the platform’s flexibility and documentation, and suggested adding native max-quantity-per-option support to streamline similar projects further.
