Less Effort is an independent streetwear collective founded by Sam Wightwick and a friend to showcase their shared passions for skateboarding, art and photography. They needed to move their store off WordPress into a lightweight Kirby CMS site while keeping a simple, flexible checkout that supported multiple gateways and features like discount codes and abandoned-cart recovery—without the complexity of platforms like Magento or recurring add-on fees.

Sam integrated Snipcart in minutes using the GitHub demo and Kirby blueprints, adding a custom HTML size selector and planning to fold in webhooks later. The result was a fast, developer-friendly store with hosted security and payment handling, access to inventory and email features without extra monthly add-ons, and a scalable setup that made ongoing management straightforward.
