Ici La Lune launches a headless Drupal storefront in 10 years with Snipcart

The customer, Ici La Lune, a French web agency, faced a challenge with their client, chocolatier and sculptor Patrick Roger. The client's outdated, non-responsive e-commerce site, built on Zen Cart, was separate from their corporate site and had become difficult to manage. Ici La Lune sought an external e-commerce solution, Snipcart, to integrate with a new headless Drupal and Angular setup for a unified and modernized online presence.

The solution implemented by Snipcart provided a seamless checkout process that integrated with the headless Drupal backend via webhooks for shipping and tax calculations. This allowed for a highly customized shopping experience, including personalized cart messages and additional checkout fields. The result was a successful merger of the corporate and e-commerce sites, with all orders synchronized between systems. Following the launch, Ici La Lune further enhanced the platform by developing a Drupal dashboard for order management and automated shipping label generation.
