Gecko Depot Europe Advanced Snipcart Integration with Squarespace

Gecko Depot Europe, the aftermarket arm of Gecko Alliance, needed a fast e-commerce solution on top of an existing Squarespace product catalog to sell parts to certified spa and hot tub retailers, distributors and technicians across Europe. The project required B2B features Squarespace didn’t provide out of the box: account approvals, permanent per-customer discounts, and dynamically tailored cart behavior (currency, payment options, shipping) for approved accounts.

Spektrum developer Francis Côté implemented a custom Snipcart integration: he built a backend app with an API and webhook handlers to manage account approvals, sync discount levels to Snipcart, proxy and transform Squarespace product data (multi-currency and alternate pricing), and forward orders to the client’s ERP. Snipcart was up and running in minutes and, with these customizations, delivered a stable end-to-end solution that automated discounts, enforced authorization, supported multi-currency and custom shipping, and met the client’s B2B requirements.
