A SnapLogic Case Study
Boston University, a major private university with over 34,000 students, struggled with a fragmented data architecture that relied on homegrown ETL, legacy integration tools, and manual coding. These constraints forced heavy IT involvement, slowed admissions and research workflows, and made identity and access management cumbersome for faculty, staff, and students.
BU implemented SnapLogic’s iPaaS to build codeless, drag-and-drop integrations and automate workflows (including admissions pipelines and LDAP/REST-based identity provisioning). The platform created a single source of truth, halved time spent parsing large datasets, saved over $100,000 in Salesforce licensing, eliminated manually coded integrations, and improved access to information, research, and facilities.
