Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy and automation solutions, faced a challenge in enabling its business teams to be more autonomous and productive. Previously, these teams relied on a centralized Professional Services group for application development, which was a resource-intensive process that slowed down time-to-market. To address this, the company's Digital team sought an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) to power a new operating model for citizen developers.

The vendor SnapLogic was implemented as the foundation for this new operating model. The solution empowered nearly 150 citizen developers to build their own applications, integrating over 100 systems and creating more than 80 integration pipelines.
