Kaplan Test Prep, a nearly century-old education company, faced technology strain from hundreds of disparate applications and large, siloed datasets that limited visibility into student responses and product usage. The lack of a single source of truth made it slow and difficult to derive insights needed to drive product and business innovation.

Using SnapLogic’s integration platform with Amazon Web Services, Kaplan built a centralized data lake on Redshift and ingested data from 50+ applications (Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, EMR, etc.) to harmonize information across the business. The integration reduced reporting time from four weeks to three days, enabled real-time student feedback and advanced analytics, and gave product, finance, and data teams the insights needed to accelerate innovation and improve student outcomes.
