A SnapLogic Case Study
dnata catering Australia, the country’s largest inflight caterer and part of the dnata/Emirates Group, needed to migrate Qantas’s Q Catering and Snap Fresh systems following a 2018 acquisition. With a lean IT team and only three months to transition dozens of applications from Qantas’ AWS environment to dnata’s Microsoft Azure, the project required integration with passenger and scheduling systems, QAD ERP, Azure Cosmos DB, and stable operation across 17 catering centers without service disruption.
dnata chose SnapLogic’s cloud-native, low-code iPaaS to accelerate the work; the platform’s visual integrations and API management enabled the team to deliver roughly 30 complex integrations, move systems to Azure, and connect to QAD and Cosmos DB with no downtime. The migration met aggressive timelines, required no extra engineering hires, preserved 24x7 manufacturing operations, and streamlined IT’s ability to deliver business value for the newly acquired Qantas account.
