Z Customization stitches its way to warehouse success

Z Customization, an embroidery company based in Carlsbad, California, and Lewisville, Texas, needed a faster way to manage order fulfillment as its business grew. After relying on paper-based processes and manual picking, the company began evaluating warehouse management systems that could scale with demand, integrate with its customers’ ERP systems, and support a mid-sized operation.

Z Customization implemented SnapFulfil’s cloud-based WMS, and the manual fulfillment process was transitioned in 12 weeks with the ERP successfully integrated. SnapFulfil helped automate tasks and improve routing for items that moved through embroidery or heat transfer before fulfillment. Shipping accuracy rose to greater than 98 percent, and 3PL revenue increased from $108,000 between January and October 2018 to $427,000 over the same period in 2019.
