Charles Trent Ltd, one of Dorset’s longest-established family firms and a major UK automotive salvage and recycling company, needed a warehouse system that could support rapid growth. Its manual paper-based picking process was labour intensive and unreliable, and the business needed a flexible WMS to support a new £4million distribution centre at Holton Heath.

SnapFulfil provided a cloud-based WMS with RF scanning, improved visibility, and support for the company’s integration with its in-house Pinnacle system. The new operation went live after a staggered 65-day implementation, and Charles Trent says it now has close to 100 per cent accuracy, has reduced order errors from 2-3 per day, and can run the site 18 hours daily across two shifts without additional resource.
