Carousel Logistics exceeds customer expectations with flexible cloud WMS

Carousel Logistics, a third party logistics company in Sittingbourne, UK, was growing quickly and wanted a scalable, flexible warehouse management system to support its multiple warehouses and personalised logistics services. The company had previously used an in-house custom WMS, but it needed a solution that could be rolled out across sites without additional hardware infrastructure.

Carousel Logistics selected SnapFulfil’s cloud-based warehouse management system after evaluating around five providers. The implementation was carried out over five months, with client-by-client migrations and testing in SnapFulfil’s test environment. The new system allowed Carousel to flex resources for seasonal peaks, including adding 10 RF guns before Christmas, and in one migration it handled 120% of a customer’s largest order day on the first day.
