Hornit, maker of the award-winning CLUG bike rack, faced a flood of counterfeit listings using its images and branding across marketplaces like Alibaba, AliExpress, Amazon and eBay as well as independent websites. To protect its design and customers, Hornit engaged SnapDragon to tackle the widespread infringements.

SnapDragon deployed its enforcement service and software, using Hornit’s registered trademarks, design rights, patents and copyright to pursue takedowns across major marketplaces and sites, provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing enforcement. The results: SnapDragon removed over 3,000 infringing CLUG links (equating to several hundred thousand products), achieved a 96% enforcement rate across key geographies including the US, Canada, Europe and China, and significantly reduced Hornit’s time and cost spent fighting fakes.
