Taylor Morrison, a homebuilder and mortgage lender, wanted to modernize and scale its closing experience with eClosings. As the market shifted during COVID-19, the company needed a way to expand beyond hybrid closings to support full eClose options, including Remote Online Notarization (RON) and eNote, while keeping the process smooth for borrowers and settlement partners.
With Snapdocs, Taylor Morrison implemented a nondisruptive, white-labeled eClosing workflow integrated into its existing LOS and made hybrid closings the default. Snapdocs helped Taylor Morrison reduce settlement opt-outs from 22% in January 2021 to 7% in October 2021, send 100% of closings through the platform by October 2021, and reach an 80% hybrid eSign rate by January 2022. Snapdocs also supported the rollout of eNote and RON by coordinating with banks, investors, servicers, and state requirements.
