Waterstone Mortgage, one of the nation’s largest mortgage lenders, wanted to move away from traditional paper-heavy closings and make digital closings the default across its operations. To support this shift, the company worked with Snapdocs and its digital closing platform to standardize workflows and enable hybrid and eClosing experiences for borrowers.
With Snapdocs, Waterstone Mortgage rolled out hybrid closings companywide, allowing borrowers to review and eSign documents before their appointments. The results were significant: 70% of closings became hybrid in just three months, the lender closed 40% more loans with the same number of closers, reduced closing times by 60%, and cut errors by 80%.
