Ziggo celebrates King’s Day with one of the most shared Lenses in the Netherlands

Ziggo, the Netherlands’ largest cable provider, wanted to own King’s Day on Snapchat by giving users a playful, shareable way to celebrate the national holiday. The challenge was to create an engaging experience that encouraged users to interact and share with friends, boosting visibility and brand fun.

Ziggo launched a King’s Day Karaoke Lens that dressed users in orange and triggered a sing-along experience, plus the Netherlands’ first smart name filter that auto-populated users’ names into a festive polaroid. The Lens earned 4.2 million impressions (about an 11% share rate) and ranked among the country’s top-performing lenses, while the name filter drove 14.4 million impressions and a 22% share rate — roughly twice the industry benchmark.
