A Snapchat Case Study
Walmart, the largest U.S. retailer with over 4,700 stores and 2.3 million employees, wanted to strengthen its connection to local communities by bringing store-level authenticity into its advertising and reaching younger, nearby audiences.
Partnering with Snap via certified partner Brand Networks, Walmart had associates at about 400 stores create and upload over 7,000 localized Snap Ads served to customers near those stores. The campaign produced a 7‑point lift in ad awareness, a 9‑point lift in brand association and an 8‑point lift in action intent, while engaging employees, lowering creative production costs, and prompting Walmart to scale the initiative nationwide.
