Volkswagen Middle East used Dynamic Ads to drive test drives in Saudi Arabia

Volkswagen Middle East teamed with Snapchat and agency Socialize to boost test-drive sign-ups in Saudi Arabia for its SUVs (Tiguan, Teramont and Touareg), becoming the first automotive brand outside the US to trial Snapchat Dynamic Ads. The challenge was to drive lower-funnel actions (test-drive registrations) more efficiently than other platforms while delivering personalized vehicle content to potential customers.

By adapting Dynamic Ads—tracking auto-specific events and customizing the product catalog for vehicles—the campaign served more relevant creative to users. In just 14 days it generated 194 test-drive sign-ups and outperformed other channels with an 18% lower cost per sign-up, 2.2× lower cost per swipe up and a 40% higher swipe up rate.
