A Snapchat Case Study
Sun & Sand Sports, a leading omnichannel sports retailer in the Middle East, partnered with Snapchat to roll out a new brand identity campaign aimed at increasing awareness among its target audiences in its top markets, the UAE and KSA. The challenge was to reach and engage users across both markets effectively while strengthening brand consideration and action intent.
The campaign used high-impact Camera and Content formats — two gamified AR lenses plus First Commercials (KSA), Story Ads and Snap Ads (both markets) — and reached 9.7 million users across UAE and KSA. Results included a +6‑pt lift in Brand Favourability and +6‑pt lift in Action Intent (vs. MENA norm); AR drove +9 pts Brand Awareness, +7 pts Ad Awareness and +8 pts Action Intent; First Commercials produced +6 pts Brand Awareness, +4 pts Ad Awareness, +9 pts Brand Favourability, +6 pts Action Intent and 20% incremental reach, while also creating retargetable audiences and strengthening the Snap partnership.
