Rocker, a leading Swedish challenger bank that helps users manage money, apply for loans and make quick payments via its mobile app, needed to engage a new audience who would not only install the app but convert into card users. Facing the challenge of reaching younger, fast-moving consumers, Rocker turned to Snapchat to find and motivate this untapped group.
Rocker ran Snap Ads and Story Ads optimized for app installs, targeting 18–50-year-olds in Sweden eligible for a card, using auto-bidding, creative CTAs and Snap’s Lifestyle Categories to tailor messaging. The campaign more than doubled install conversion rates, with Snapchat driving 44% of downloads, a 2x higher install rate versus other social platforms and a 75% lower cost per install, helping Rocker reach No. 1 in the Swedish Apple App Store.
