RetailMeNot partnered with Snapchat to boost brand awareness during the holiday season and drive shopper engagement among socially active millennials. The goal was to complement RetailMeNot’s broader holiday campaign, encourage in-mall interactions with the brand, and reach a highly engaged, younger audience at peak shopping moments.
The team created four custom Snapchat Geofilters and deployed them across 3,000 U.S. malls, timing the launch to key holiday shopping dates. The campaign reached over 11 million Snapchatters, generated more than 20 million total views, and saw one in six people who unlocked a Geofilter apply it to their selfie.
