Petit Bateau, the iconic French apparel brand, aimed to grow its e-commerce business in France by better leveraging audience data and maximizing ROI. Advised by Artefact, the brand partnered with Snapchat to reach the app’s 25 million monthly users in France and improve targeting for acquisition and retargeting campaigns.
Using the Snap Pixel and Petit Bateau’s first‑party data, the team built audience segments and lookalikes, employed Snapchat’s Goal‑Based Bidding (Pixel Purchase), and ran Dynamic Product Ads across Snap Ads, Story Ads and Collection Ads driven by its product catalog. The campaign delivered a 15.75x ROAS, a €6.84 cost per purchase, and was 3.4× more cost‑efficient per purchase than other social platforms during the same period.
