Mirinda reconnects with Saudi millennials with the launch of a new flavor on Snapchat

Mirinda, a well-known soft‑drink brand in Saudi Arabia with strong affinity for its Lemon flavor, wanted to introduce a new variant without cannibalising existing sales and to win younger, millennial drinkers from competitors. To reach this hard‑to‑impress audience, Mirinda partnered with Snapchat to capture their attention through vertical video creative and an entertaining AR Lens.

Using reach & frequency, Mirinda launched the region’s first Sponsored “Soundboard” AR Lens and ran non‑skippable Commercials between Shows & Games, combining camera and video formats to drive active engagement. The campaign delivered strong results—boosting ad recall by 16 percentage points and message awareness by 22 percentage points—while successfully engaging the target millennial audience.
