McDonald’s Saudi faced a recruitment challenge: fill 850+ roles across stores and corporate functions while reaching young, hard-to-reach Saudi nationals. With a paid media brief and a target of 10,000 applications, McDonald’s partnered with Ethos Interactive and Snapchat to find hires quickly and at scale.
They launched a 24‑hour Augmented Reality Lens prompting Snapchatters to tap through and apply, supported by Snap Ads and five influencers who shared Lens videos. The campaign smashed its goal, generating 42,972 “Snaplications” — four times the target — and marked the region’s first use of a Lens for recruitment.
