Max Fashion, a leading value-fashion retailer in the Middle East, needed to reach and acquire new, younger customers ahead of Black Friday to drive app installs and sales through the shopping season. The challenge was expanding top-of-funnel reach beyond its usual conversion-focused activity to build an engaged audience quickly.
Max ran bursts of First Commercials and Commercials a few days before Black Friday to boost reach, then retargeted that audience during peak days with Snap Ads and Story Ads optimized for app installs and purchases. The campaign drove a 45% incremental reach lift, lifted ad awareness by +8 points among females and +9 points among Snapchatters aged 25–34, achieved a $0.95 CPI and delivered an 8x ROAS for app purchase campaigns.
