LYKO, a Sweden-based beauty retailer with over 5,000 products, wanted to showcase its wide lipstick selection to women on Snapchat and drive purchases and strong return on ad spend (ROAS). Their challenge was to create an engaging, scalable way for shoppers to discover and try products before buying.
LYKO used Snapchat’s catalog-powered AR Shopping Lenses to let users virtually try on lip colors directly in the camera, targeting female Snapchatters and linking to a simple path to purchase. The campaign delivered outstanding results: a 49x ROAS and an approximate $3 CPM.
