Liquid I.V. Drives Incrementality and Efficiency With AR on Snapchat

Liquid I.V., a health and wellness brand known for hydration products, wanted to scale e‑commerce growth and drive broader brand awareness beyond its existing Snap Ads and Story Ads. The challenge was to increase reach and performance while reducing the cost per incremental ad awareness.

They introduced augmented reality on Snapchat with a two‑phase approach: an Audience Swipe‑Up Lens for prospecting (multi‑cell brand lift) followed by a broad National Lens launched on National Hydration Day (single‑cell brand lift). The campaign drove strong results — 2.5× brand awareness lift (Audience Lens), 20× purchase intent lift (National Lens), 46% and 76% more efficient cost per incremental ad awareness for the Audience and National Lenses respectively, 73% incremental reach on the National Lens, and lower CPIs overall.
