Hats off and Geofilters on! Here’s how JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Snapchat partnered to celebrate the class of 2016!

JPMorgan Chase & Co. wanted to position itself as a top employer for recent and soon-to-be graduates and to capture attention during graduation season. The challenge was reaching students at scale with timely, relevant messaging that would boost brand favorability and association with internships and entry-level jobs.

The company partnered with Snapchat, using geofenced Sponsored Geofilters across college campuses and takeovers of “College Graduation” and “High School Graduation” Live Stories with contextually relevant Snap Ads. The campaign delivered over 17 million impressions (89% from high school/college students and future grads), achieved a +18‑point lift in brand favorability and an +18% lift in internship and employment association.
