Fitbod sees 31% lower cost per acquisition on Snapchat

Fitbod is a mobile fitness app that uses machine learning to personalize workouts and guide users through sets, reps and weights. Seeking more engaged users who would both download and spend in-app, Fitbod turned to Snapchat to reach a fresh audience and lower acquisition costs.

Fitbod ran an always-on App Install campaign in Snapchat Ads Manager, targeting men 18–35 with lookalike and predefined audiences and testing multiple creatives; UI-focused still images with strong CTAs performed best. The campaign delivered CPIs 54% lower than other platforms and a CPA 31% below Fitbod’s goal, enabling continued expansion into new markets and creative tests.
