Fanta Netherlands launched the “What the Fanta” campaign to boost awareness and engagement with teenagers on Snapchat. The series of short video episodes, starring Dutch ambassador Loes, invited Snapchatters to solve a playful Fanta taste mystery and aimed to build strong ad and message recall among the target audience.
Fanta ran a mix of Snap Ads and 6‑second non‑skippable Commercials inside Snapchat’s Discover content, and measured impact with a multi‑cell Brand Lift study. The combined strategy delivered big gains—Ad Awareness +27 points and Message Awareness +26 points—versus Snap Ads alone (+12 and +8), demonstrating that adding Commercials and consistent branding significantly amplified campaign results.
