DrSmile, a fast-growing European clear-aligner provider working with over 200 dental practices, set out to scale growth by reaching Snapchat’s audience and driving users to book 3D-scan appointments. The challenge was to create a highly engaging, measurable ad experience that converted Snapchatters into bookings while improving campaign ROI.

DrSmile implemented an AR Lens Swipe that combined Face and World Lenses with GPS-driven tap-to-book functionality (auto-switching after 10 seconds), launched with broad targeting and auto-bid-for-swipe, then added retargeting using Lens-generated content. The approach produced an 18.5% lift in sessions, a 60% increase in bookings and a 69% reduction in CPA, with retargeting costs 44% lower — making Snapchat their most efficient paid-social channel and prompting plans to expand the Lens across markets.
