Depop increases their spend on Snapchat by 3X after seeing efficient scale & reach

Depop is a global mobile marketplace for fashion with 12+ million predominantly 18–25-year-old users. Looking to scale in key markets (US, UK, AU) and acquire higher-quality users, Depop partnered with Nest Performance and Snapchat to reach a relevant, hard-to-find audience beyond other channels.

They ran Snap Ads and Story Ads targeting 18–34-year-olds via Snap Lifestyle Categories and “Snap Installers,” tested bespoke sound-on, short-form creative, and used Audience Insights plus the Snap Pixel for retargeting. As a result they tripled spend on Snapchat, allocated 50%+ of total media budget to the platform, achieved ~77% lower cost per acquisition versus other channels, and saw 91% and 48% higher LTV in the US and UK respectively versus Facebook.
