Coca Cola used Snapchat to drive a 32pt increase in Ad Awareness

Coca‑Cola Denmark ran its third annual Share a Coke campaign focused on spreading compliments and positivity and needed a way to boost ad awareness and social engagement around the idea of personalized, shareable moments.

They launched a Snapchat Lens that let users personalize a Coca‑Cola bottle with a friend’s name and a compliment, supported by Snap Ads to increase reach. The Lens outperformed Snap benchmarks: ad awareness rose +32 points (vs a +15‑point benchmark), playtime nearly doubled (≈41s average), and share rate improved by about 10%.
