Coca-Cola Australia Engages Snapchatter’s to Share the Joy

Coca‑Cola Australia wanted to celebrate Australian friendships with its Summer 2021 Share a Coke campaign and turn Snapchat into a platform for real fans to be the face of the work. The challenge was to engage Snapchatters authentically and capture user‑generated content that could be featured across the brand’s summer TV spots.

Coca‑Cola invited Snapchatters to shout out their mates via an AR Lens and submit their Snaps directly to the brand; Coca‑Cola worked with Mish Guru to aggregate submissions and select the best shoutouts for TVCs. The effort drove a +19‑point increase in ad awareness (1.4x the Australian norm) and a +24‑point rise in message association.
