Burger King Kuwait leverages National AR Lens to launch and drive orders for the new Chicken Wings Bucket

Burger King Kuwait introduced Chicken Wings to its menu right after the July 2020 lockdown and needed to drive mass awareness and online orders for the new item across the country. The campaign’s challenge was to re-engage customers post-lockdown and convert excitement into immediate delivery purchases.

Snapchat built a playful AR Face Lens called “Go Wings” (national takeover) that let users collect wings by moving their heads and included a CTA to order on Talabat, supported by a Biddable Lens and Snap Ads. The effort reached over 820K unique Snapchatters, delivered 1.37M impressions, generated 18,015 swipe-ups to order in 24 hours, was shared 11,073 times, and helped Burger King sell out the Family Bucket in four months instead of the planned nine.
