8fit, a workouts and meal-planning app, partnered with Snapchat’s Snap Accelerate program to expand its reach and rapidly scale a new user-acquisition channel. The challenge was to find creative and targeting approaches on Snapchat that would drive efficient mobile app installs compared with their existing channels.
Working with performance agency K6 Growth, 8fit tested Snap Ads that felt like organic content—including influencer-style videos—and used Snap’s Lifestyle Categories to refine targeting. Those tactics delivered a 20% lower cost per install and a 25% higher ROAS than all other platforms.
